Original Oral Interpretation

In this event, you will write your own piece. Each piece must be persuasive in nature. Your goal is to encourage the listener to adopt your point of view.

  • Speech must be 10 minutes or less

  • No props or costumes may be used

  • Speech must be Memorized

  • Speech must be original

  • No more than 10% can be quoted material
