Lincoln Douglas Debate

In this event, you will debate a resolution. The overall debate is philosophical in nature. You will not come to a solution to the resolution. The goal is to argue which side is more morally right.

  • Speech does not have to be Memorized

  • You must write a case for and against the resolution

  • The speech will start with the affirmative side and go back and forth between questioning and speaking
